Moore was contracted to perform the civil scope for the expansion and enhancement of an Ammonia Loading and Storage Facility. The project encompassed construction of new structural foundations as well as modifications to existing foundations to support new pipe racks, pipe supports, bridges, stair towers, and cable trays.
Project DETAILS
- Selective demolition of existing concrete foundations was performed to accommodate new construction requirements.
- The project scope included the installation of deep foundations, featuring drilled shafts and 18-inch diameter pipe piles extending up to 50 feet in length.
- Concrete work consisted of pile caps, mat foundations, column pedestals, and spread footings.
- Site improvements included pipe bollard installation, limestone paving, and drainage system upgrades.
